WOW, is all I can say. I just got back from a Cedar, Varley, Carl Wilson, Laurel Cedar Loop and mother nature certainly had her way up there. Never have I seen so many downed trees. The Island site on Laruel had five very large pine trees that had fallen directly on the site; in fact one fallen tree had a tent under it. We saw no one, not a single soul for four days and every single portage was a challenging adventure as we had to deal with multiple large pines that had fallen across the portage trail.  If anyone has any specific questions about the route you can e-mail me.
