Day 1
Wendigo - North Depot Lake
Day 1 - Things started out well, left Ottawa around 7:00 am and stopp
ed
in Deep River at the Laurentian Dairy for an awesome breakfast and milkshakes
for everyone. Then it was off to Valley Ventures to pick up one of the
canoes. Notice the canoe that is on top already, well that's it, the TCE
itself. From left to right, Moe, Rob, Ted and Brandon.
Finally at Wendigo Lake, canoes packed and we're ready to go!
A great shot of the TCE. At this point in the trip Ted and Brandon don't realize what they were stuck with. The TCE had no seats and was and was uncomfortable as hell!
First stop, an island site on North Depot Lake. Moe's happy to have camp all setup.
And so is Ted I guess.
